All About Berberine

 Berberine is an active compound that is extracted from plants and is used as a supplement due to its incredible healing properties. The yellow alkaloid compound is found in a shrub species called “Berberis” and many other plants as well. Berberine has been used in Chinese Traditional Medicine throughout history for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

 The compound has been used in hundreds of studies and has shown to have incredible effects on many organ systems by interacting with enzymes and other components of our cells to influence our genes, metabolism, and our hormones.
